Religious leaders rejoice at the prospect of Stephen Hawking ‘burning in hell’.
As the world is still mourning the loss of one of the greatest minds who ever lived, some religious fanatics took pleasure in his passing.
Hawking was not religious because he was highly logical – the two do not go hand in hand.
He discovered more about the universe in his 76 years than thousands of years of religious doctrine ever revealed.
After his death, his fans and followers took the opportunity to thank the man who unlocked the secrets of the universe. While a bunch of religious maniacs thought it would be a good time to hammer home their unfounded beliefs.
There was a good mix of random fanatics as well as high ranking religious officials who made their point. Texas State Rep. Briscoe Cain took to Twitter to offer his condolences, alongside a snide remark.
Stephen Hawking now knows the truth about how the universe was actually made.
My condolences to his family.— ??????? ???? (@BriscoeCain) March 14, 2018
When asked by a reporter, he backed up his opinion with further religious speculation.
He said:
“I am sympathetic for his family’s loss. Losing a loved one is difficult for everyone. My prayers are with them.”
“While many see him as one of the greatest public intellectuals of the last century, and no one disputes that he was brilliant, the fact remains that God exists.
My tweet was to show the gravity of the Gospel and what happens when we die, namely, that we all will one day meet the Creator of the universe face to face.”
There was a variety of similar tweets from people who all seem to be obsessed with the idea of Stephen Hawking meeting ‘God’.
Trust and believe Stephen Hawking is no longer an atheist. May God forgive him. RIP Stephen Hawking.

The confidence with which all of these keyboard warriors state that they ‘know’ exactly what is going on in heaven/hell right now is pretty amazing. Imagine being able to know exactly what is going on in a place that they made up in their heads at any given time. Hawking must be so red-faced!
It always takes some kind of tragedy for the religious fanatics to come out of the woodwork. Its almost as if they revel in negativity and in some way, aren’t totally happy. This should not be the case, though. These religious guys are the ones who keep telling the rest of us to change our ways, and for what – so we can be miserable and hate-filled like them?
We’re sure that Stephen Hawking was not afraid of ‘burning in hell’ and until one of these religious fanatics can come up with some real evidence, in the same way the Hawking himself dedicated his life to facts, we can be assured that he died with the correct beliefs.
